Quick tips for writing:

Remember, whenever contacting anyone in government about any issue be positive (negative comments hinder) and explain WHY you feel whatever you are discussing is important. If you have photos, please include those as well.

Writing shortcut:

Type up what you want on your computer, click print and put in an envelope and regular mail. That is a way of ensuring that your letter IS seen. It is not unusual for these Government officials to received thousands of emails every few days!

2. School Boards and County Commission

Use a search engine such as www.dogpile.com, www.google.com etc.. For instance type in "Hillsborough County School Board Florida" or "Hillsborough County Commission Florida".

IMPORTANT: Your local School Board is involved with FFA and Career and Technical Education. The County Commission is involved with 4-H and Extension. Make sure you email the correct one for what you are writing about!

But, your Legislators are involved with both. So, when writing include your Legislators.
